Enerwise is an independent engineering partner for commissioning, construction and energy safety. We work across power generation, substations, data centres, pharmaceutical facilities and landmark hospitality projects, from design review to live operation.
Engineers who understand how systems behave, not just how they are drawn.
Our team is made up of commissioning and construction engineers whose experience comes from live sites: gas turbine halls, 400 kV substations, data halls and pharmaceutical cleanrooms. We read every design as an operating plant. We anticipate how systems interact under load and under failure, and we plan each test so that it proves performance without exposing people or assets to risk.
We act for owners, developers and EPC contractors, as an independent reviewer and as a hands-on delivery team. The task might be a commissioning management system for a 560 MW combined-cycle plant or the supervision of building services in a city-centre hotel. Either way, the standard is the same: a documented process, verified results and a safe site.

Expertise
Three disciplines. One accountable team.
Commissioning, construction and energy safety are usually split between separate contractors. At Enerwise they are handled by one team with one understanding of your systems. The engineer who supervised the installation knows how it will be tested, and the engineer who tests it knows exactly how it must be isolated and energised.
Commissioning is the point where design intent meets physical reality. We plan, witness and document every level of it, from factory acceptance to integrated systems testing. Owners receive facilities that are safe to operate, proven against their specification and fully understood by the people who will run them.
1.1
Site Commissioning
Commissioning engineers on the ground from first energisation to final performance test. They read each system as a live plant and test it so that performance is proven without putting people or equipment at risk.
Installation verification and pre-functional checks (Levels 1–3)
Start-up and energisation of HV/LV, mechanical and process systems
Functional performance and integrated systems testing (Level 4–5 / IST)
Load-bank, failure-mode and black-start testing for critical plant
Deficiency tracking, close-out and re-test
Operator training and handover to operations
1.2
Commissioning Management
The structure that makes commissioning predictable. We set the rules, sequence and evidence trail at the start, so that the commissioning phase runs to programme instead of absorbing it.
Commissioning Management System (CMS) and Commissioning Plan
Test Plans, method statements and test procedures
Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) and Basis of Design (BOD) review
System boundaries, turnover packages and completion tracking
Integration of the commissioning schedule with the construction programme
Issues log, progress reporting and final commissioning report
1.3
LEED Commissioning
Commissioning Authority services structured around USGBC LEED requirements. Energy and water performance is then verified in operation, not assumed from design.
Fundamental Commissioning and Verification (prerequisite)
Enhanced and monitoring-based commissioning
Building envelope commissioning
Design-phase reviews against OPR and BOD
Systems manual and operator training verification
Seasonal testing and post-occupancy review

Construction
Successful commissioning is decided long before the first test. Our construction team protects quality, cost and programme from procurement through to mechanical completion. They look at the site the same way our commissioning engineers do: as systems that must work together.
2.1
Construction Supervision
Experienced site engineers who make sure that what is built matches what was designed, and that it is ready to be tested when the time comes.
Supervision of MEP, electrical and process installations
Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and hold-point witnessing
Quality control of materials, workmanship and records
Site safety inspections and HSE coordination
Subcontractor coordination and interface management
Red-line, as-built and mechanical completion documentation
2.2
Project Management
Control of scope, cost and time on the owner’s behalf, from the first budget to the final account.
Budgeting, cost planning and cash-flow forecasting
Main equipment specification, tendering and procurement
Planning, scheduling and critical-path control
Vendor expediting, FAT witnessing and delivery logistics
Contract, change and claims management
Risk management, reporting and stakeholder coordination
03 / 03
Energy Marshal / SAP
Where new systems are energised while construction continues around them, the greatest hazard on site is uncontrolled energy. Our Energy Marshals and Senior Authorised Persons (SAP) take ownership of that hazard. They control every isolation, energisation and permit, so work proceeds safely and to programme.
3.1
Energy Control on Live Sites
A single, accountable point of control for electrical, mechanical and process energy, from first back-feed to final handover.
Site safety rules and energisation procedures
Permit-to-work, sanction-for-test and limitation-of-access control
Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) systems, key management and audits
HV/LV switching programmes, isolation and earthing
Energisation sequencing with construction and commissioning teams
Pre-task briefings, competency checks and daily energy-status reporting
01Isolate
Every energy source identified, isolated, locked and proven dead before work begins.
02Verify
Permits, test sanctions and access limits issued only against verified conditions.
03Energise
Switching carried out to approved programmes, with the area cleared and every team informed.
